Simple Pages Templates from Simple Stories: Simply a Must-Have!

I've been a scrapbooker for more than 20 years now.  I have a deep and abiding love for patterned paper and embellishments of all kinds.  I have the requisite storage boxes full of paper intended for layouts, half-finished albums, and boxes of baby through graduation photos of my children waiting to be scrapped. (The youngest who is 22.)  Any of this sound familiar?  If so, then you will be as excited as I am about the new Simple Pages templates from Simple Stories!  

Honestly. They are so easy to use and make beautiful layouts in minutes. Anything that helps me finish an album, makes professional-looking layouts accessible, AND saves time too - automatically goes to the top of my "must-have" tools!  

There are several different sizes and picture orientations available to provide lots of variety in your layouts. The first step is to use the outside of the template to size the photo mat. Then cut your photos to the size of the template, lay them in place inside the template, and adhere them to the paper. Finally, pick up the template. And voila! Perfectly placed photos!

I used white cardstock cut to the size of the template and then trimmed my photos down by 1/4" on each side.  To finish off the layout, I used my other new, favorite product: Simple Pages Page Pieces.  Page Pieces include a title, journal pieces, and themed embellishments to complete the look.  

The back of the packaging even has suggestions for how to embellish your layout. It makes so very easy to create a professional-looking layout and there are endless ways to make it your own.  It's so much fun!  I couldn't wait to do more!
